Manchester United will be looking to maintain their positive start to the season when they take on Swansea City away from home in the Premier League on Sunday afternoon.

Louis van Gaal’s side will head into the game at Old Trafford at the Liberty Stadium on the back of a 4-0 victory over Club Brugge in the second leg of the Champions League playoff tie.

That win in Belgium saw United progress to the group stage of Europe’s premier club competition after winning the playoff tie 7-1 on aggregate.

The Red Devils have picked up seven points from three Premier League games so far this season and will be favourites to defeat Swansea in Wales.

Hosts Swansea are also in good form at the moment, having defeated York City 3-0 at home in the second round of the League Cup on Tuesday.

The Swans drew 1-1 with Sunderland away from home at the Stadium of Light last weekend, and prior to that they had defeated Newcastle United 2-0 at the Liberty Stadium and drawn 2-2 with Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.
