With Sunderland suffering from injuries at the worst possible time, Chris Coleman has little choice in his team selection.
It is do or die for Sunderland as they head into Saturday’s home game against Burton Albion.
The Black Cats are six points from safety with just three Championship games remaining and, given they must still play Fulham and Wolverhampton Wanderers, this is a match they simply have to win.
Chris Coleman has been dealt a real blow this week, too, with Donald Love, Jonathan Williams, Lynden Gooch and Joel Asoro out for the rest of the season – as reported by the Chronicle.
So how will Sunderland line up against Burton?
Lee Camp will continue in goal despite his poor performances as there is simply no other option, but there may be a couple of enforced changes in defence.
Billy Jones is the obvious replacement for Love, while Bryan Oviedo was withdrawn early against Reading last week and so Jake Clarke-Salter could also come in.
Higher up the pitch, the injuries actually mean Coleman has little option but to stick with the same side that drew in an impressive performance last time out.
Gooch and Williams cannot displace Callum McManaman or George Honeyman, while Asoro will also not feature out wide or up front in place of Fletcher. These players simply must perform for Sunderland now.
