Match to be played on Saturday 20th December 2014 at 15:00. Venue: St. Mary’s Stadium, Southampton.
Southampton will be looking to end a bad run of form when they host Everton this weekend despite a midfield crisis.
The Saints had a great start to the season and consolidated near the top of the Premier League.
However, results have taken a dip in recent weeks with Ronald Koeman’s side also put out of the League Cup earlier this week by Sheffield United.
For Everton it’s a different story as they bounce into this game with plenty of momentum after a 3-1 win against QPR.
Roberto Martinez’ side will be confident, with Steven Naismith likely to be inspired having signed a new contract with the Merseyside club.
The Saints could move back into the top four with a win while Everton will be looking to break into the top eight and stay there.
Here are the potential teams that each manager could go with this weekend.
Southampton: Forster, Clyne, Fonte, Yoshida, Bertrand, Ward-Prowse, Davis, Alderweireld, Tadic, Mane, Pelle
Everton: Howard, Coleman, Jagielka, Distin, Baines, Barkley, Besic, McGeady, Pienaar, Naismith, Lukaku
