Southampton welcome Inter Milan to St. Mary’s on Thursday evening for their latest Europa League match.

The Saints are currently third in Group K with four points from their first three matches, and although they lost 1-0 to the Italians in the reverse fixture last month they can feel confident of inflicting revenge this time out.

Southampton are impressing under manager Claude Puel this season and they have both the players and the mindset to cause problems to the best of teams.

In early team news, Southampton are without Cedric Soares, Jeremy Pied, Matt Targett, Shane Long and Jay Rodriguez.

A win for the Saints would give them a great chance of reaching the knockout stages from a group that could still see any two from four qualify.
