Sheffield Wednesday are looking for their third straight win, against Sunderland on Monday.

Sheffield Wednesday travel to the Stadium of Light on Monday, to meet a Sunderland side which also began the Easter weekend with a surprise 4-1 victory.

Another win in the north east would be Wednesday’s third in a row, having been buoyed by the returns of several key players, and would all but secure their survival.

Sunderland, off the bottom for the first time since mid February, need the points more, however, and should not be underestimated by the Owls, who still haven’t beaten a side below them in the league this season.

Changes are to be expected from Jos Luhukay’s Friday XI, of whom Jack Hunt and Sam Hutchinson may be considered doubts after their early withdrawals, along with the recently returned Barry Bannan.

Liam Palmer and Lucas Joao could come in for the former pair, while either David Jones or Jacob Butterfield are on stand-by should Bannan not make it, and Morgan Fox may again continue in place of George Boyd.
