Sheffield Wednesday travel to Reading in the Championship on Saturday.

Two games in five days for the same starting XI should spell changes for Sheffield Wednesday at Reading on Saturday.
It’s fair to say that few of those 11, if any, were a their best as the Owls picked up back-to-back draws against Bristol City and Ipswich Town.
Wednesday boss Carlos Carvalhal is not exactly spoilt for alternatives, however, meaning some will keep their places regardless.

The Yorkshire side have no – obvious – new injury concerns, although Barry Bannan is only a yellow card away from an automatic one-match ban – and now would be the perfect time to rest him with the cut-off point for five bookings next Thursday.
Bannan has started every one of Wednesday’s league and cup fixtures this season, and is probably due a weekend off anyway.
Liam Palmer, Kieran Lee, David Jones and Steven Fletcher could all make returns to Carvalhal’s starting line-up, although Atdhe Nuhiu is likely to remain on the bench despite his equaliser at Portman Road.
Here’s how we think the Owls could set up…
