Sheffield Wednesday’s wretched run of games is almost over.
The Owls play Ipswich Town on Tuesday for what will be the eighth match in 25 days, with only Bolton Wanderers to follow ahead of a six-day rest.
And the run, which has yielded a single win, appears to have taken its toll on a team already devoid of at least 10 – mostly key – first team players in every game throughout that time, bringing four successive defeats.
Things could get worse before they improve, however, with Daniel Pudil, Frederico Venancio and Lucas Joao all fresh doubts according to Sheffield Wednesday manager Jos Luhukay.

That could mean a first start for Tom Lees since the return of this fixture last November, with Glenn Loovens, Jordan Thorniley and Jordan Rhodes also in line to profit.
David Jones, Jacob Butterfield and George Boyd will all hope for recalls, meanwhile.
