Sheffield Wednesday host Derby County on Tuesday.

Sheffield Wednesday’s continued participation in this season’s FA Cup has seen Derby County’s visit to Hillsborough brought forward four days to Tuesday.
That is far from ideal for the Owls, whose injury hit squad is facing a run of four games in 12 days – having also played on Saturday.
It would come as some surprise, therefore, to see Jos Luhukay stick with the same Wednesday 11 which earned a point against Barnsley last time out, especially with David Jones forced off prematurely, and the likes of Atdhe Nuhiu and Ross Wallace lasting the full 90 minutes at Oakwell.

A freshen up might not be the worst idea, with Wednesday still seeking their first league win in five attempts under Luhukay, and Jack Hunt, Daniel Pudil, Glenn Loovens, George Boyd and Jordan Rhodes are among the most notional potential recalls, with Cameron Dawson, Connor Kirby, Sean Clare and Jack Stobbs also available after missing the Owls Under-23s’ defeat at Huddersfield Town on Monday.
Neither of Keiren Westwood, Tom Lees, Joost van Aken, Sam Hutchinson, Kieran Lee, Barry Bannan, Almen Abdi, Gary Hooper, Steven Fletcher or Fernando Forestieri are fit to play at Hillsborough, while the Derby-owned Jacob Butterfield cannot feature against his parent club.
