Sheffield Wednesday host Birmingham City in the Championship on Saturday.

Sheffield Wednesday manager Jos Luhukay hopes to have Glenn Loovens and Marco Matias available for Saturday’s visit of Birmingham City to Hillsborough.
However, speaking at a press conference, broadcast via the Owls’ official website, on Friday, the Dutchman revealed that Keiren Westwood and Barry Bannan have both suffered setbacks in their recoveries from injury.
Whether Loovens or Matias, who both missed Tuesday’s draw at Middlesbrough, will return to Wednesday’s starting XI remains to be seen.

Young centre-back Jordan Thorniley has impressed in Loovens’ absence, while Matias only resumed training again on Friday.
Either way, Luhukay is likely to return to his usual five-three-two system against Birmingham, having switched to more of a five-four-one in a bid to nullify Boro’s threat – to great effect.
And either Atdhe Nuhiu or Jordan Rhodes are in line to return, perhaps at the expense of Jacob Butterfield, should Matias miss out. Others on the fringes of Luhukay’s 11 are Jack Hunt, David Jones and George Boyd.
