Sheffield United could return to the top of the Championship with a win against struggling Hull City.

John Fleck of Sheffield United in action during the Sky Bet League One match between Sheffield United and Northampton Town at Bramall Lane on December 31, 2016 in Sheffield, England.

After three straight victories, it is perhaps little surprise that Sheffield United’s winning run should come to an end during the game in which John Fleck was suspended.

The Scottish playmaker has been one of United’s main difference makers this season (and last), and his returning presence against Hull City on Saturday will no doubt put plenty of Blades’ minds at ease.

Billy Sharp of Sheffield United celebrates during the Sky Bet Championship match between Sheffield United and Barnsley at Bramall Lane on August 19, 2017 in Sheffield, England.

As well as Fleck, Chris Wilder’s side are also likely to welcome back their captain and top goalscorer, Billy Sharp, who was rested against Queens Park Rangers.

However, United are expected to be without goalkeeper Jamal Blackman, who injured his back in that game and has returned to Chelsea, his parent club, for treatment. Luckily, the Blades have Simon Moore on hand to replace him.

Their only other issue could be at right wing-back, from where George Baldock was removed as a precautionary measure at Loftus Road. United are already without Kieron Freeman in that position, but Chris Basham could be shifted out wide if Baldock doesn’t make it, with Jake Wright likely to come in, in that case.

Here’s how we think the Blades could look against the Tigers:
