Real Madrid will be looking to take a step closer to winning the La Liga title when they face Granada away from home on Monday evening.
Zinedine Zidane’s side are at the top of the league table at the moment with 80 points from 35 matches, a point clear of second-placed and bitter rivals Barcelona, who have played 36 games.
Los Blancos will head into the match against Granada at Nuevo Estadio de Los Carmenes on the back of a 2-0 victory over Alaves at home and will be favourites to pick up all three points this evening as well.
Sergio Ramos and Dani Carvajal were suspended against Alaves, but the two defenders are available against Granada and will slot straight into the starting lineup.
Karim Benzema picked up a knock against Alaves, but the Frenchman is likely to lead the line again for Madrid on Monday evening.
Eden Hazard, who has had a injury-plagued season, came on as a late substitute against Alaves, and the former Chelsea attacking midfielder is unlikely to be risked from the start and will start the match on the substitutes’ bench again.
This means that Vinicius Junior will start on the left with Marco Asensio on the right of the attack, and former Tottenham Hotspur winger Gareth Bale will continue to warm the bench.
