Here is how we predict Glasgow Rangers will line up against Kilmarnock on Wednesday evening:

Rangers manager Pedro Caixinha is seen during the Betfred League Cup Semi Final between Rangers and Motherwell at Hampden Park on October 22, 2017 in Glasgow, Scotland.

Rangers welcome Kilmarnock to Ibrox later this week for their latest Scottish Premiership match, and Pedro Caixinha’s side will be keen to get back to winning ways after losing 2-0 to Motherwell in the Scottish League Cup semi-final last time out.

That performance left some Gers fans calling for a change, and there is no doubt many of the club’s most experienced players under-performed and need a kick up the proverbial sooner rather than later.

That said, given the sheer number of players that arrived at Rangers over the summer, it was always going to take time for them to settle into a coherent team.

Rangers are currently third in the league with 17 points from a possible 27 and, while reigning champions Celtic are six points better off at the top of the table, there are reasons to be positive.

A few changes could be on the cards for this week’s match, with youngster Ross McCrorie possibly replacing the injured Fabio Cardoso and Carlos Pena likely to be dropped after a woeful showing in the cup.

The midfielder should be bossing those kind of matches but he looked well off the pace and was schooled by his opponents.

With all that in mind here is how we expect Rangers to line up for their game against Kilmarnock:
