Here is how we predict Glasgow Rangers will line up against Hamilton this weekend:
Rangers return to domestic matters this weekend when they welcome Hamilton Academical to Ibrox and it will be interesting to see if the Gers’ caretaker boss Graeme Murty can maintain his impressive recent record.
Rangers were hit-and-miss under former boss Pedro Caixinha but they are starting to show the kind of consistency under Murty that suggests he should be given the job on a permanent basis.
That seems unlikely given the Rangers board’s failure to make an announcement thus far, but they can rest assured that Murty will do the best for the club as long as he is sitting in the dugout.
Rangers are currently fourth in the Scottish Premiership table with 24 points from their first 12 matches and, with only six points separating them from leaders and reigning champions Celtic, the club still have a chance of staking a claim in the second half of the campaign.
In contrast Hamilton are ninth with 12 points from a possible 39 and they should be ripe for the picking for a Ranger side that has plenty of impressive players at their disposal.
Rangers have a game in hand over Hibernian, who are just a single point ahead of them in third place for now, and Murty will want to leave on a high if this does turn out to be his last match.
With all that in mind here is how we expect Rangers to line up against Hamilton on Saturday afternoon, with Bruno Alves overlooked yet again and Jason Holt keeping his place with Graham Dorrans still side-lined.
