Here is how we predict Glasgow Rangers will line up for their match against Celtic on Saturday:

Rangers have a huge match this weekend as they welcome fierce rivals Celtic to Ibrox for their first Old Firm clash of the new season.

The Gers came through a tough Scottish League Cup match against Partick Thistle earlier this week, winning 3-1 after extra time. However that victory may have come at a cost, with key players Bruno Alves and Declan John picking up injuries that could rule them out on Saturday.

That is yet to be confirmed, so Rangers manager Pedro Caixinha will be hoping to have both men available, with Alves an ever-present in the club’s back line this season and summer loan signing John replacing the recently injured Lee Wallace.

The Rangers boss is believed to be adapting his training plans in a bid t have both players available for the huge match and we are predicting that both will make it.

If they do not, and Rangers are forced to field a makeshift defence with Danny Wilson returning at centre-back, it could be a long afternoon for the Gers.

Rangers striker Alfredo Morelos has been in outstanding form so far this season and he could make the difference again if he gets the chances.

Celtic will be well aware of that, but with the likes of Daniel Candieas and Graham Dorrans also in good form, Rangers now have a side capable of shaking things up at the top of the table.

With all that in mind here is how we expect Rangers to line up against Celtic this weekend:
