This is how we predict Rangers and Aberdeen will line up this evening:

To be played on Wednesday 17th May 2017 at 18:45. Venue: Ibrox Stadium,

Odds: Rangers 13/10, Draw 12/5, Aberdeen 2/1

Caixinha

Rangers welcome Aberdeen to Ibrox this evening in a battle between the best of the rest in the Scottish Premiership.

Celtic have run away with the league this season, leaving Aberdeen 30 points behind them and Old Firm rivals Rangers a further six points back. But this evening’s clash allows Gers boss Pedro Caixinha to lay down a marker that they can be the Bhoys closest challengers next season.

In early team news, Rangers are without Rob Kiernan and Danny Wilson along with long-term absentees Niko Kranjcar and Jordan Rossiter.

As for Aberdeen, they cannot call on Ryan Jack, Peter Pawlett or the suspended Jonny Hayes.

General View of Ibrox Stadium

After his poor performance against Hearts last time out, Caixinha would be wise to drop loanee Jon Toral for this clash.

A win for Rangers would lift them to within three points of second place and give Caixinha a slim chance of finishing the league campaign on a high, although there is also significant goal-difference to overcome.
