Steven Gerrard and Rangers play host to St. Johnstone on Saturday.

Rangers manager Steven Gerrard has a number of decisions to make to his starting eleven as they take on St. Johnstone at Ibrox on Saturday afternoon in the Scottish Premiership.
The Gers are unbeaten in their last five games, winning four on the bounce before drawing 0-0 against Kilmarnock in the Scottish Cup last weekend – with a replay to be held on Wednesday.
Gerrard confirmed in his press conference on Friday that Jermain Defoe and Kyle Lafferty are doubts for Saturday’s clash, with Allan McGregor and Alfredo Morelos still banned to face Tommy Wright’s side.
Defoe has a tight hamstring and Lafferty has a tight calf, according to Gerrard, but both are set to train on Friday ahead of Saturday’s clash and Gerrard is hopeful that both players will be available.
Dapo Mebude has been recalled from representing Scotland international duty to act as cover, just in case. Meanwhile, Graham Dorrans has suffered another setback, Eros Grezda remains sidelined and Jamie Murphy is kicking balls.

Gerrard has finally found his best centre-back pairing, combining Joe Worrall and Connor Goldson while Nikola Katic and Gareth McAuley are being made to wait on the sidelines.
With McGregor and Morelos banned, Wes Foderingham will come in, while Defoe is expected to continue in the absence of Morelos – if he is fit. Borna Barisic should replace 27-year-old left-back Andy Halliday, while Steven Davis could be given a go over Ryan Jack.
