That would then allow Rangers to play with two strikers, with Portuguese star Daniel Candeias and Rangers academy product Ross McCrorie expected to miss out.
Since the Celtic game, then, Gerrard is expected to make three changes to his side, with Barisic, Davis and Defoe coming in for Andy Halliday, McCrorie and Candeias.
