Rangers travel to Pittodrie this weekend, fresh off an important midweek victory.

Glasgow Rangers defied the form book to secure an impressive midweek victory at Ibrox.

Rangers had lost consecutive games to Hamilton and Dundee, and belief was low that they could defeat Aberdeen.

The Gers delivered, winning 3-0 over Derek McInnes’ side, looking dominant from the very first whistle.

Rangers and Aberdeen meet again this weekend, this time at Pittodrie.

Caretaker manager Graeme Murty will have to decide whether to make changes or stick with the side which was so successful at Ibrox.

And there is one change he should make…

Rangers Aberdeen predicted 2

Providing he overcomes the hip injury which caused him to fail a late fitness test ahead of the Ibrox clash, Alfredo Morelos should come back into the starting line-up.

This would mean veteran striker Kenny Miller dropping out after starting at Ibrox and playing 79 minutes of the fixture.

Morelos is Rangers’ top scorer this season even though he is on a goal drought extending several weeks.

Miller worked hard against Aberdeen but was low on quality, and Morelos could benefit from returning to play alongside teammates whose confidence has been lifted.
