Rangers were unlucky in their trip to bitter rivals Celtic last Sunday, culminating in an eighth league defeat for the season.

Fans arrive at the stadium prior to the Ladbrokes Scottish Premiership match between Rangers and Celtic at Ibrox Stadium on March 11, 2018 in Glasgow, Scotland.

Graeme Murty will be without 21-year-old centre back David Bates for the visit of high-flying Kilmarnock after he was carried off during Rangers’s 3-2 loss at Celtic last weekend.

Murty confirmed that Bates has not broken his ankle, although he is set for a spell on the sidelines following a clash with Tom Rogic.

In his absence, Norwich City loanee Russell Martin should return to the fold following a back issue to partner Bruno Alves ahead of largely underwhelming summer arrival Fabio Cardoso.

Rangers chairman Dave King looks on from the stands during the Ladbrokes Scottish Premiership match between Rangers and Celtic at Ibrox Stadium on March 11, 2018 in Glasgow, Scotland.

The Teddy Bears will be boosted by the long-awaited return of duo Graham Dorrans and Lee Wallace. While Wallace may struggle to break into the line-up after a prolonged absence, Dorrans may get an opportunity immediately following Sean Goss’s poor performance in the Glasgow derby.

Jason Cummings will be itching for a start upfront following Alfredo Morelos’ horror miss on Sunday, and a large chunk of the Gers faithful are keen to see it.

Murty has entrusted the Colombian consistently since taking over from Pedro Caixinha in October, however we are anticipating a change in personnel on Saturday.

Although Scottish Premiership glory looks out of the question, Murty will be keen to continue to earn results and secure second place with his current contract up at the season’s end.

Killie’s last visit to Ibrox saw late drama as Daniel Candeias missed a 90th minute penalty to put Rangers 2-0 ahead.

Rangers manager Pedro Caixinha is seen during the Betfred League Cup Semi Final between Rangers and Motherwell at Hampden Park on October 22, 2017 in Glasgow, Scotland.

Subsequently, Chris Burke scored a 95th minute equaliser for the visitors and Pedro Caixinha was sacked the next day.

Here is how we anticipate Rangers will line-up, with Murty making just two changes:
