Graeme Murty is expected to field a new-look Rangers side as they travel from Ibrox to Fraserburgh.
Rangers manager Graeme Murty could incorporate all four signings on Sunday afternoon as his Gers side travel to Highland League minnows Fraserburgh in the fourth round of the Scottish Cup.
The Gers have completed January loan deals for defender Russell Martin from Norwich City, midfielder Sean Goss from QPR and attackers Jason Cummings and Jamie Murphy from Nottingham Forest and Brighton respectively.
In what is expected to be a slightly weakened side with a huge clash against second-placed Aberdeen just three days after Sunday’s potential banana skin, Murty will want his first-team stars fresh.
Rangers are still without senior trio Bruno Alves, Kenny Miller and Graham Dorrans, though. Alves remained in Portugal during the Florida trip after suffering a calf injury, while Miller’s ruptured hamstring is expected to keep him out for some time.
Dorrans is likely to be nearing a return to training, as he remains on the sidelines with an ankle injury. The mood in the Rangers squad will be an optimistic one, after wins over Corinthians and Atletico Mineiro in Florida.
Now, Murty is likely to name an almost unrecognisable Rangers side to take on their fifth-tier opponents, with all four signings in line for a start. Murty could also start youngsters Serge Atakayi and Jamie Barjonas.
Jak Alnwick should be given a rare chance to feature between the sticks, while 21-year-old Benfica loanee Dalcio impressed in Florida from the unusual position of left-back and he may do the same this weekend.
