The Israeli striker has been nursing a slight injury but is set to start in place of Nahki Wells as QPR take on Derby County.

Queens Park Rangers welcome Derby County to Loftus Road on Saturday as the Rs look to make it two wins on the bounce. The midweek win over Reading saw Rangers move six points above the relegation zone on 13 points.

Boss Steve McClaren returned to a 4-2-3-1 line-up and opted for Nahki Wells as his lone striker, but the 28-year-old went his sixth successive game without scoring. Tomer Hemed is likely to start against Derby after McClaren hinted at a change in the week.

Jordan Cousins is set to continue on the right-hand side of midfield with Luke Freeman on the left flank and Eberechi Eze playing centrally. The attacking trio will need to be at their best to break down the Rams defence.

McClaren will need to make a decision on Geoff Cameron as the defensive midfielder continues to fine-tune his match fitness. The USA international played the whole 90 minutes at the Madejski and a decision to play him will likely come on the day.

Josh Scowen would almost certainly step in for Cameron and the former Barnsley man will look to thwart Derby’s attacking presence. Frank Lampard’s side will look to take the game to QPR and the west Londoners will need to be at their best defensively.

Expect McClaren to name the same back five from the Reading win, although Alex Baptiste might be considered as right-back. Angel Rangel has made the position his own but two games in four days might be too much for the 35-year-old.
