Queens Park Rangers will be looking to return to winning ways on Saturday after two consecutive draws on the road.

Manager Steve McClaren is likely to stick with the same starting XI that salvaged a late point at Rotherham United on Tuesday, with no new injury concerns or fitness doubts.

The 2-2 draw at the New York Stadium demonstrated QPR’s fighting spirit as Luke Freeman scored a last-minute equaliser, after they had twice gone behind.

If Rangers can topple Hull, it will be the west Londoners’ fourth win on the bounce on home turf, but McClaren will need to prepare for a dogged performance from Nigel Adkins’ men.

Joe Lumley has not kept a clean sheet in four games now, but the QPR goalie will be vital on Saturday if Rangers are to win, as he has so often this campaign.

Angel Rangel, who scored a brace at Stoke City last weekend, will play right-back with Jake Bidwell on the left and Joel Lynch in the middle alongside skipper Toni Leistner.

Geoff Cameron and Massimo Luongo are set to start in their usual defensive midfield roles, with the impressive Eberechi Eze playing just behind the lone striker.

That man is expected to be Nahki Wells; although Tomer Hemed played well after coming off the bench on Tuesday, the former is set to get the nod.
