Saturday’s big match towards the bottom of the Premier League may be the time Canaries boss Chris Hughton decides to pair Gary Hooper with fellow big-money striker Rocky van Wolfswinkel.
In what is a must-win affair at Carrow Road, the emphasis will be on the home team to get the three points, leading Hughton to tamper with the 4-5-1 he has generally employed to play two up top as long as the Dutchman can shake off a toe injury. If he doesn’t make it expect to see Jonas Elmander take his place.
This will mean stiff competition in a shrunken midfield, where Alexander Tettey could miss out to Jonny Howson after the latter’s goal against Arsenal. On the wings, it’s even more competitive, with Nathan Redmond pushing for a starting place.
