Here is how we predict Newcastle United will line up against Bournemouth this weekend:

Newcastle United welcome Bournemouth to St. James’ Park on Saturday for their latest Premier League clash and the Magpies will be hoping to get back to winning ways after losing to Burnley last time out.

Rafa Benitez’s side have had a hit-and-miss campaign to date and find themselves ninth in the table after Monday’s setback.

There are still plenty of reasons to be positive and Newcastle are just five points behind fifth-placed Arsenal with plenty of football still to be played.

That said, after losing to Burnley earlier this week they need to ensure they get three points under their belt this time round with this year’s Premier League more competitive than most.

Anyone can beat anyone on their day – except perhaps Manchester City – but if Newcastle build up a head of steam there is no reason why they could not mount a push for a Europa League place in the second half of the campaign.

In early team news Newcastle are without Paul Dummett while summer signing Mikel Merino is a minor doubt with a back injury but has a 75 per cent chance of being fit for this clash.

With all that in mind here is how we expect Newcastle to line up against Bournemouth on Saturday afternoon:
