Manchester United face a difficult test away in Spain against Real Sociedad, kick-off for the Champions League match is 19:45 GMT tomorrow.
Manchester United will go into their away match against Real Sociedad looking to complete the double over their opponents and move onto the magical ten point mark, which is normally enough for qualification to the first knock out round.
United will be confident after a solid 3-1 away win at Fulham over the weekend, which hinted that the side was getting back to their fluent best with some great pieces of attacking football.
Here is the side David Moyes may go with tomorrow night.
GK – David De Gea
This is another chance for United’s goalkeeper to show his quality back in his home country. He’s been one of the best goalkeepers in the Premier League over the last couple of seasons which makes him a vital component of the defensive unit, which protects United’s goal.
RB – Phil Jones
With Rafael unavailable, it’s likely that Phil Jones will slot into the right-back role. It’s a job he’s done plenty of times in the past and he’s good enough to control that side of the pitch defensively, while adding to the attack when he goes forward

CB – Rio Ferdinand
Jonny Evans would have more than likely retained his place but Ferdinand should slot back into the side in his absence. His experience will be vital keeping the back four organised throughout the game.
CB – Nemanja Vidic
This could potentially be a very difficult evening of work for United, which means their captain is going to be important in defence. Vidic can organise the back four, keep the spine of the team structured and generally demand the best from his teammates throughout.
LB – Patrice Evra
The Frenchman was solid against Fulham over the weekend and there will be pressure on Moyes to clarify his future. He’ll slot in as normal on the left of defence, getting forward when he can but also making it difficult for Sociedad to attack from that side.
RM – Antonio Valencia
Valencia is one of the quickest players around, which makes him a big weapon for United, as they’ll look for him to get beyond the full back and in behind the defence. He certainly looks a lot more consistent than he was last season.
CM – Marouane Fellaini
With Michael Carrick unlikely to play with an Achilles problem, it means an opportunity for Fellaini to come into the midfield. He simply has to concentrate on being the disruptive player in midfield, the player who does the dirty work to win the ball back for United.
CM – Tom Cleverley
Cleverley has bags of potential as a central midfield man but he’s not always shown it. He needs to protect the ball well for United ruing this game, even more so if Carrick isn’t fit enough to start.

LM – Shinji Kagawa
Adnan Januzaj did nothing wrong against Fulham but Kagawa is a vital player for United to have in their midfield. He’s one of the best players the side has available in terms of retaining possession, which will allow the midfield and attack to build pressure over Sociedad.
ST – Wayne Rooney
Rooney will continue in that role just behind the main striker in attack. Expect to see him dropping off to the midfield of United are taking a lot of pressure and linking up and rotating with Robin van Persie if United are well on top and in control of the game.
ST – Robin van Persie
Van Persie’s goal against Fulham will do him a world of good. He’s not looked at his best so far this season but strikers thrive on confidence and belief in their own ability and it wouldn’t be a surprise if the Dutchman is the attacking star of this game.
