Manchester United have been active in the transfer market already this season, snapping up Eric Bailly from La Liga side Villarreal.
Jose Mourinho is set to clinch more signings too, with The Guardian among those reporting they are closing in on a double deal for Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Henrikh Mkhitaryan.

The Express also report United are strongly considering Real Madrid defender Raphael Varane, who could be allowed to leave the Spanish side.
Here is a look at how a Manchester United side with all these signings could look next season…
This side features Chris Smalling at right-back to accommodate Varane, although as it stands the England defender can be expected to line up alongside Eric Bailly.
Zlatan Ibrahimovic would lead the line up front with young gun Marcus Rashford on the bench, while there is no room for the likes of Memphis Depay or Juan Mata in the XI, although the Spaniard may be preferred by many as a replacement for Rooney.
Central midfield remains a bit of an uncertainty, and it is likely Mourinho makes a signing, with Ander Herrera heading out of the side. Paul Pogba perhaps?
