Here is how we predict Manchester United and FC Rostov will line up later this week:

To be played on Thursday 16th March 2017 at 20:05. Venue: Old Trafford,

Odds: Man Utd 3/10, Draw 4/1, Rostov 9/1

Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho

Manchester United welcome Russian side FC Rostov to Old Trafford on Thursday evening for the second leg of their Europa League last 16 tie.

The score is level at 1-1 after the first encounter but United’s away goal means they have the advantage, especially when you consider how poorly the Russians tend to perform away from home.

United will be smarting from their 1-0 defeat to Chelsea in their FA Cup quarter-final clash earlier this week, a loss that ended their hopes of a treble, but there is still plenty for Jose Mourinho’s side to play for.

United can call on Zlatan Ibrahimovic after the Swede was suspended for domestic matters, while there should also be recalls for the likes of Daley Blind, Eric Bailly and Michael Carrick.

United should have too much for Rostov but the first goal will be vital and Mourinho will send his side out with the intention of putting this game to bed in the first half.

With that in mind here is how we expect the two sides to line up on Thursday:

  • Sergio Romero

  • Daley Blind
  • Luke Shaw
  • Michael Carrick
  • Ander Herrera
