Here is how we predict Manchester United and Manchester City will line up this week:

Manchester United welcome fierce rivals Manchester City to Old Trafford on Wednesday evening in the fourth round of the EFL Cup.

Jose Mourinho’s side were humiliated 4-0 against Chelsea at the weekend and the challenges do not get any easier as they entertain a City side desperate to get back to winning ways after their own poor run of form.

United are likely to make changes for this fixture. However given the sheer strength in depth at both clubs it seems highly unlikely that either starting line-up will be considered weak.

In early team news, United are without Phil Jones and Eric Bailly while there are doubts regarding Wayne Rooney and Morgan Schneiderlin.

City cannot call on Bacary Sagna or Pablo Zabaleta while Kevin De Bruyne and Fabian Delph are doubtful.
