How could Manchester United line up next season?
The Sun report Jose Mourinho is looking to spend £150 million on as many as seven new players when he is appointed as Manchester United boss.
Claiming the manager has already been planning his transfer targets, the paper is claiming Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Joao Mario, Ezequiel Garay, Gonzalo Higuain, John Stones, Andre Gomes, and Alvaro Morata are all priorities.

This would certainly make for an attacking line up, and to get all 11 in, there would have to be sacrifices.

Here is a look at how Mourinho could do it…
De Gea
Chris Smalling John Stones Ezequiel Garay Luke Shaw
Andre Gomes
Joao Mario Wayne Rooney
Zlatan Ibrahimovic
Alvaro Morata Gonzalo Higuain

Who misses out, and what about this key question?
Chris Smalling would have to switch to right-back to accommodate both Stones and Garay, with United’s team near unrecognisable.
Everton’s John Stones

There is no place for Marcus Rashford or Anthony Martial in the XI, with Wayne Rooney remaining in midfield and three new attackers up front.
It is of course unlikely United sign both Higuain and Morata, which would see Martial back in.

The key problem with this line up is that it is just surely too attacking for a Jose Mourinho side, but United demand entertainment, and this is a team which would surely provide it.
