Liverpool will be looking to build on their win against Tottenham Hotspur with victory over West Ham United on Sunday.

The Reds got the better of Tottenham 3-1 away from home in North London in the Premier League on Thursday evening.

Liverpool will now face West Ham away from home at the London Stadium in the Premier League on Sunday.

Joel Matip is injured and will miss the match, and so will Fabinho, who has been playing in central defence despite being a defensive midfielder by trade.

This means that Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp could bring Nathaniel Phillips into the starting lineup.

Described as “sensational” by Klopp on Sky Sports in October 2020, the 23-year-old English defender has made three starts and one substitute appearance in the Premier League for the Reds so far this season, according to WhoScored.

Mohamed Salah, Roberto Firmino and Sadio Mane will start in attack, and the trio will have Thiago, James Milner and Georginio Wijnaldum behind them in midfield.
