Liverpool will be looking to bounce back from the defeat to Everton when they take on Sheffield United away from home on Sunday evening.
Jurgen Klopp’s side will head into the match against the Blades on the back of a 2-0 defeat to Everton at Anfield in the Merseyside derby.
Liverpool manager Klopp could make a few changes to the side that started against the Toffees in the Premier League game.
Adrian could come in for Alisson between the posts. The Brazil international goalkeeper’s father recently passed away, and Klopp could decide to leave him out and bring in the 34-year-old Spaniard, who has played twice in the Premier League so far this season, according to WhoScored.
The Spaniard – who described himself as a “very ambitious” footballer on Liverpool’s official website in August 2019 – is a back-up to Alisson and will be determined to do his best if given the chance.
Klopp has suggested that Fabinho could be available, and the Brazilian defensive midfielder could go back into defence.
The Liverpool manager could also decide to give midfielder Georginio Wijnaldum a rest.

Former Chelsea star Tony Cascarino recently observed in The Times that the Netherlands international midfielder “looks exhausted”.
This is how Liverpool could line up against United on Sunday:
