Liverpool and Spartak Moscow go head-to-head this week.
Liverpool take on Spartak Moscow in their final Champions League group match on Tuesday evening and Reds boss Jurgen Klopp will be eager to go out on a high.
Liverpool are all but guaranteed a place in the knockout stages but they will want to ensure the calmest of nights by putting this one to bed as soon as possible.
Klopp’s side lead Group E with nine points from five matches and a win against their Russian opponents will secure top spot, although that in itself does not guarantee an easy draw in the next phase, with Real Madrid one potential opponent.
Liverpool ran out 5-1 winners against Brighton and Hove Albion at the weekend and if they can replicate that form this week they should have far too much for Spartak.
In early team news, Liverpool are without Joel Matip and Nathaniel Clyne but they have an otherwise clean bill of health.
With some impressive performances against Brighton, Klopp could have a few tough decisions to make as to who exactly will start for Liverpool, but he will also have one eye on the next league fixture against Everton just a few days later, especially with the Toffees in resurgent form.
