Here is how we predict Liverpool will line up against Southampton this weekend:

Jurgen Klopp, Manager of Liverpool celebrates after the Premier League match between West Ham United and Liverpool at London Stadium on November 4, 2017 in London, England.

Liverpool welcome Southampton to Anfield on Saturday for their first Premier League clash since the latest international break.

The Reds are currently fifth in the table with 19 points from their first 11 matches but, with only four points separating them from second-placed Manchester United, Jurgen Klopp’s side will know they have a great chance of forcing their way back in title contention – even if Manchester City currently look unstoppable.

In contrast Southampton are 13th in the table with 13 points from a possible 33, and they need to keep picking up points to ensure they do not slip into a relegation scrap ahead of the hectic Christmas and New Year fixtures.

In early team news Liverpool are without Nathaniel Clyne and Adam Lallana and they have minor doubts regarding Sadio Mane and Jordan Henderson, although the latter pair are rated at 75 per cent to be ready if called upon.

Southampton cannot call on Jeremy Pied or Mario Lemina, however they have an otherwise clean bill of health for this match.

With all that in mind here is how we expect Liverpool to line up against Southampton on Saturday afternoon:
