Here is how we predict Liverpool will line up against Derby County this week:

To be played on Tuesday 20th September 2016 at 18:45. Venue: Pride Park Stadium,

Odds: Derby 11/2, Draw 18/5, Liverpool 4/9

Liverpool are flying in the Premier League right now and they will be hoping to maintain their fine form when they take on Championship side Derby County in the EFL Cup on Tuesday evening.

Liverpool have so many good players on their books right now that it is hard to ensure all get sufficient game-time, especially with no European football this season. However, manager Jurgen Klopp could use the upcoming match to ensure a few of his fringe players get a run out.

Liverpool manager Juergen Klopp

He went strong in the last round against Burton Albion and was duly rewarded with a 5-0 victory, so it will be interesting to see exactly who is selected in a competition Klopp will be desperate to win after coming so close in his first year at the helm.

Of the possible changes, Ragnar Kavan, Divock Origi and Lucas Leiva are the more likely, but aside from that expect Klopp to pick many of the same players who helped Liverpool overcome Chelsea last time out.
