Here is how we predict Liverpool will line up against Bordeaux later this week:
Liverpool travel to France this week to begin their Europa League campaign with a match against Ligue 1 club Bordeaux on Thursday.
The Reds will still be smarting from their back-to-back defeats against West Ham United and Manchester United and Brendan Rodgers will be desperate to get a win as soon as possible.
Liverpool are without the injured Jon Flanagan and Joe Allen while Daniel Sturridge and Jordan Henderson are rated at 50/50 to take part.
Adam Lallana has a much better chance of recovering from a knock and taking to the field if called upon.
Along with Bordeaux, Liverpool also have to face Rubin Kazan and Sion in Group B and given the players at the Reds’ disposal this is a good opportunity to bring European success back to Anfield.
Rodgers is likely to make some changes but do not expect a particularly weak side.
