Tottenham were stopped from being the only team to win all four fixtures over the Christmas period when they were held to a 1-1 draw by West Ham last time out in the Premier League.

Mauricio Pochettino rang the changes for the 3-0 FA Cup win over AFC Wimbledon at the weekend.

And Everton will face a rested and highly motivated Spurs side who know a win will put Liverpool under huge pressure ahead of their tough clash with champions-elect Manchester City on Sunday.

Pochettino has made no secret that Champions League qualification is the club’s new target and victory over Everton is a must.

The Argentine boss looks set to make two key changes to the side which started the game against West Ham for the visit of Sam Allardyce’s men.

Kieran Trippier in for Serge Aurier

Pochettino likes to rotate his full backs and he did just that by starting Aurier against West Ham and then Trippier against AFC Wimbledon.

Trippier’s delivery and link-up play with Harry Kane gets him the nod for this one.

Mousa Dembele in for Moussa Sissoko

Dembele did not feature against West Ham but played against Wimbledon while Sissoko played in both and failed to impress in what is turning into a torrid career in North London. Dembele will come in for the French midfielder alongside Eric Dier as his presence will be important in helping deal with the likes of Gylfi Sigurdsson and Wayne Rooney while setting Spurs on their way for counter attacks.
