West Ham United travel to London rivals Arsenal on Sunday with some work still to do to secure Premier League survival.
West Ham have turned a corner of late with a resounding win over relegation rivals Southampton, a draw at Chelsea and then rescuing a 1-1 draw at home to Stoke last time out.
The Hammers sit 14th on 35 points knowing one more win – or perhaps even one more point – will ensure their survival but now face a tough run in starting at Arsenal on Sunday.
David Moyes came in for criticism from fans and pundits for a perceived negative approach to the Stoke game.
Many supporters felt the Scot also waited far too long to introduce the likes of Javier Hernandez, Manuel Lanzini and Andy Carroll, with the latter in particular causing Stoke problems and getting that last minute equaliser.
A number of players failed to cover themselves in glory for West Ham last time out and Moyes faces a real headache when it comes to team selection to face the Gunners with fans demanding changes.
And Moyes looks set to make as many as three changes to the team which started against Stoke.
Adrian in for Joe Hart
West Ham fans who are demanding Moyes reinstates Adrian to the starting XI for the trip to face the Gunners after Joe Hart’s woeful error gifted Stoke their goal.
With Manchester City at home the following week – in which Hart can’t play against his parent club – supporters feel now is the time for the Spaniard to come back into the side so he is not caught cold against the newly-crowned champions.
Fans flooded Twitter to criticise Hart, who was mocked by supporters during the game after his error.
The on loan star has surely played his last game for the club.
Manuel Lanzini in for Joao Mario
Mario has struggled to replicate the form he showed in his superb performance against Southampton in the games against Chelsea and Stoke.
And with star man Manuel Lanzini back fit he will take the Portuguese’s place in the side.
Javier Hernandez in for Edimilson Fernandes
Like Mario, Fernandes was excellent in that crucial win over the Saints but has struggled to reproduce that form since.
West Ham already have two holding midfielders operating in the middle of the park in Mark Noble and Cheikhou Kouyate and fans are demanding Javier Hernandez gets the chance he deserves up front alongside Marko Arnautovic.
