West Ham United travel to Brighton for a crucial game in an increasingly congested Premier League.
West Ham have turned a corner under David Moyes and have lifted themselves out of the relegation zone.
The Hammers remain very much in the relegation mix, though, given how congested the league is.
A win at Brighton on Saturday would not only maintain West Ham’s unbeaten start to the new year in the league but go some way to securing their Premier League status.
After a hugely disappointing transfer deadline day, Moyes has been handed a big boost by the return of key players to the fold for the trip to the Amex to face Chris Hughton’s men.
Moyes knows a win could push the Hammers into the top half and he will make three changes to the side which drew 1-1 with Crystal Palace last time out.
Michail Antonio, who was dropped for disciplinary reasons for the game against the Eagles, is back as are defenders Jose Fonte and Winston Reid.
And two of the three will come straight back into the side for what is a crucial game for both sides in the fight for survival while new signing Jordan Hugill should bolster West Ham’s attacking options on the bench.
Reid in for Rice
Young Declan Rice was solid enough against Palace but with Reid back fit he will make way with experience the order of the day for what promises to be a tense match.
Reid will take his place in a back three alongside Angelo Ogbonna and James Collins.
Antonio in for Byram
West Ham have missed Antonio’s pace and power and he will come back into the side in place of Sam Byram with Pablo Zabaleta switching back to the right wing back position.
