Here is how we predict Preston North End and Leeds United will line up on Boxing Day.

To be played on Monday 26th December 2016 at 15:00. Venue: Deepdale, Preston

Odds: Preston 7/5, Draw 23/10, Leeds 13/8

Leeds United travel to Deepdale on Boxing Day to take on Preston North End in their latest Championship clash.

The Whites are currently pushing hard for promotion back to the top flight and they sit fifth in the table as things stand, with 38 points from 22 matches.

As for Preston, they are 11th but only six points separate them from Garry Monk’s side, showing just how close the second tier of English football is right now.

Leeds had defender Kyle Bartley to thank for a late winner against Brentford last time out and Monk will be hoping his side can build up a run of successive victories to ensure they have a successful 2017.

Preston are not easy opponents and their 2-1 victory against Bristol City will give them plenty of confidence heading into this fixture.
