Leeds United and Oxford United go head-to-head this weekend.

Leeds United complete their pre-season preparations with a match against Oxford United on Saturday, and new Whites manager Thomas Christiansen has plenty of players to choose from for his first game at Elland Road.

Leeds have signed some very exciting players as they bid to mount a serious title challenge in the upcoming campaign and goals should not be hard to come by if the likes of Ezgjan Alioski, Samu Saiz and Caleb Ekuban all play to their full potential.

Last season’s top scorer Chris Wood will be licking his lips in anticipation at the attacking football expected now Leeds have the options to support him on a consistent basis.

That said, some of the players Christiansen inherited have upped their game over the summer and Eunan O’Kane and Kalvin Phillips in particular have seemingly proved their doubters wrong in emphatic fashion.

Alioski has played a bit-part role to date, but whenever he has featured he has looked like the real deal and the Macedonia international will no doubt be desperate to make his Elland Road debut, dazzling the Leeds faithful in the process.

Matthew Pennington could start at the back alongside Pontus Jansson, although Leeds are still likely to be on the lookout for another more experienced centre-back to replace former loanee Kyle Bartley.

With all that in mind here is how we expect Leeds to line up on Saturday afternoon:
