Here is how we predict Leeds United will line up against Burnley this week:

Leeds United travel to Turf Moor this week to take on Burnley in the third round of the EFL Cup, and the Whites will be hoping to get the better of two of their former players.

Chris Wood and Charlie Taylor now play for Sean Dyche’s men but Leeds have worked wonders with their own squad, ensuring that neither the left-back nor the striker are currently missed.

The Whites may have slipped to their first defeat of the season away to Millwall on Saturday, but there are still plenty of reasons to be positive and if Leeds play to their full potential they could cause a shock on Tuesday evening.

That said, Leeds boss Thomas Christiansen looks set to make a few changes, with the likes of Jay-Roy Grot, Stuart Dallas, Ronaldo Vieira and Kemar Roofe all returning to the starting line-up.

Leeds made light work of Port Vale and Newport County in the earlier rounds of the competition but Burnley are a totally different prospect and chances will be at a premium.

Leeds are hoping to finally earn promotion back to the top flight come May and this is their first chance to test their new-look side against a Premier League team they will be hoping to share a table with in 2018 and beyond.
