Here is how we predict Leeds United will line up when they face Newport County this week:
Leeds United have started life under new manager Thomas Christiansen in fine form, and they will be hoping that continues when they welcome Newport County to Elland Road this week for their League Cup clash.
The Whites defeated Port Vale 4-1 in the last round and they should have too much for the League Two team on Tuesday evening. That said, Christiansen will take nothing for granted and should play a relatively strong side, even if changes are inevitable.

Leeds’ summer transfer business means they can make wholesale changes from the team that defeated Sunderland on Saturday and still field a starting XI the envy of many.
With goalkeeper Rob Green back on the bench against the Black Cats, the experienced Leeds stopper should start this match ahead of Felix Wiedwald.
There should also be changes in the centre of the park, with Mateusz Klich and Ronaldo Vieira starting as they did against Port Vale.
Conor Shaughnessy and Cameron Borthwick-Jackson are also likely to line up in defence, while Stuart Dallas should feature from the outset after scoring from the bench at the weekend.
With all that in mind here is how we expect Leeds to line up against Newport as they bid to continue their fine start to the campaign in both the league and the cup:
