Here is how we predict Leeds United and Liverpool will line up for this week’s cup clash:

To be played on Tuesday 29th November 2016 at 19:45. Venue: Anfield Stadium,

Odds: Liverpool 2/9, Draw 11/2, Leeds 11/1

Leeds United travel to Anfield on Tuesday evening to take on Liverpool in the quarter-final of the EFL Cup.

The Whites put the disappointment of losing to Championship leaders Newcastle United behind them when they overcame Rotherham United 2-1 on Saturday, but they will now be fully focused on potentially reaching the last-four of a major competition.

Garry Monk manager of Leeds United

It is testament to how far Leeds manager Garry Monk has taken his side in a short spell of time, and although Liverpool are strong favourites, anything can happen on the night.

The Reds are currently second in the Premier League, one point behind leaders Chelsea, but with no European football to contend with this season Liverpool are expected to go strong in the domestic cups.

Liverpool manager Juergen Klopp

Liverpool are without Danny Ings and Adam Lallana while Brazilian duo Philippe Coutinho and Roberto Firmino could miss the clash with ankle and calf injuries respectively.

Daniel Sturridge also has a calf problem but could return for this encounter.

As for Leeds, they are still without skipper Liam Bridcutt and play-maker Pablo Hernandez but Pontus Jansson returns after serving a one-match suspension.
