Leeds United and Aston Villa face off on Friday evening.

Leeds manager Thomas Christiansen looks on during the Sky Bet Championship match between Cardiff City and Leeds United at Cardiff City Stadium on September 26, 2017 in Cardiff, Wales.

Leeds United welcome Aston Villa to Elland Road on Friday evening for their latest Championship clash, and the Whites will be hoping to build on their impressive recent outing against Barnsley

Thomas Christiansen’s side won 2-0 on that occasion, making it two victories in their last three matches, and if Leeds can overcome fellow promotion chasers Villa they will head into the festive fixtures in fine fettle.

Leeds had Samu Saiz and Ezgjan Alioski to thank for their recent win and both men look set to start again for the Whites, while Caleb Ekuban deserves to keep his place ahead of fellow summer signing Pierre-Michel Lasogga.

A win for Leeds could see them move back into the play-off places and that will be great news for a club that has been hit-and-miss for much of the campaign.

As for Villa, they are currently fourth in the table and would move to within two points of the automatic promotion places with a victory of their own.

Leeds certainly have the players to ensure it is another successful night at Elland Road but they will have to be at their best, even if Villa are missing a key defender in the form of John Terry.

With all that in mind here is how we expect Leeds to line up on Friday night:
