Leeds travel to the Midlands to face West Brom on Saturday evening.

Leeds United manager Marcelo Bielsa during the Sky Bet Championship match between Wigan Athletic and Leeds United at DW Stadium on November 4, 2018 in Wigan, England.

Marcelo Bielsa will be hoping his Leeds United side can produce a major result in the Championship title race and send a message to their promotion rivals by beating West Bromwich Albion on Saturday, away from home.

Leeds travel south to the Hawthorns to face Darren Moore’s side, and come into the game off the back of a 2-1 win over Wigan Athletic last time out at the DW Stadium.

Bielsa will be without defenders Gaetano Berardi and Luke Ayling who are still nursing injuries sustained last month, while attackers Izzy Brown and Patrick Bamford remain long-term absentees.

But other than that, the Argentine boss has a full compliment of players to choose from, including striker Kemar Roofe who will face his former side. The striker is in excellent form, scoring three in his last three games.

Leeds remain at the top of the table and a win over the Baggies would further cement their place in first, as well as building momentum for a long season that is only a third of the way through.

WIGAN, ENGLAND - NOVEMBER 03:

Some fans have called for Jamal Blackman to be given a chance between the sticks but Bailey Peacock-Farrell is likely to remain in goal, while Adam Forshaw is set to remain in the side after Samu Saiz failed to impress with the Under-23’s.

The 27-year-old played the entire 90 minutes of Leeds’ second string’s 3-1 loss to Crewe Alexandra on Monday, after remaining an unused substitute against Wigan. He is set to remain on the bench.

At right-back, Stuart Dallas did a decent enough job in the absence of Ayling and Berardi, leaving Jamie Shackleton on the bench. Leeds then, go unchanged into Saturday evening’s clash.
