Everton will be looking to build on their win against Fulham when they take on Leeds United at home this weekend.
The Toffees returned to winning ways in the Premier League last weekend when they got the better of Fulham 3-2 away from home at Craven Cottage in London.
Carlo Ancelotti’s side will lock horns with Leeds at Goodison Park in the league on Saturday evening.
Everton have already received a blow ahead of the match, with left-back Lucas Digne set to undergo surgery after suffering an ankle ligament injury in training.
Niels Nkounkou could come in for Digne – who cost the Toffees £18 million when they signed him from Barcelona in 2018, as reported by Sky Sports – at left wing-back, but there is also the possibility of Jonjoe Kenny playing in that position.
The 23-year-old is a more experienced player than Nkounkou, and although the Englishman is a right-back by trade, he has played as a makeshift left-back before when Digne and Leighton Baines were unavailable, as reported by talkSPORT.
Alex Iwobi will maintain his position at right wing-back, while James Rodriguez will be the creator-in-chief behind Richarlison and Dominic Calvert-Lewin.
This is how Everton could line up against Leeds this weekend:
