Everton will face Liverpool in the third round of the FA Cup clash on Friday night at Anfield.
The last time these two sides met in this competition was in 2011/12 when Liverpool edged out their derby rivals 2-1, with Luis Suarez and Andy Carroll getting their names on the scoresheet.

Sam Allardyce’s side are heading into this match on the back of a four-game winless run that includes back to back defeats against AFC Bournemouth and Manchester United. Therefore, the Toffees will be hoping to avoid their third defeat in a row.
Liverpool are on fire at the moment, having remained unbeaten in their last 13 Premier League games.

However, Jurgen Klopp has never beaten Allardyce, and last month Everton picked up a point at Anfield when the game ended 1-1 in the Premier League.
Both the sides will be making changes to keep the squad fresh, and therefore Aaron Lennon, Gylfi Sigurdsson, Jonjo Kenny, Phil Jagielka, Dominic Calvert-Lewin and James McCarthy should return to the starting XI after they were dropped to the bench against Manchester United.
