Everton and Swansea City go head-to-head this weekend.

Sam Allardyce, Manager of Everton looks on prior to the Premier League match between Newcastle United and Everton at St. James Park on December 13, 2017 in Newcastle upon Tyne, England.

Everton will be hoping to continue their resurgent form when they take on Swansea City at Goodison Park this weekend.

The Toffees have been re-energised following Sam Allardyce’s appointment as manager and their 1-0 victory against Newcastle United earlier this week gave them another huge boost heading into the festive fixtures.

That said, there is still plenty of work to be done, and Everton will know that the sooner they stockpile their points, the sooner they can stop looking over their shoulder and start focusing on potentially pushing for a European place next season.

That seemed impossible just a few short months ago, but much has changed on the blue half of Merseyside and Everton should have too much for a struggling Swansea team.

In early team news, Everton are still without Ross Barkley, Yannick Bolasie, Seamus Colemam, Ramiro Funes Mori and James McCarthy.

Despite those notable absences, the Toffees look like a completely different team under their new boss and it goes to show what a change at the top can do when a board gets it right.

With all that in mind here is how we expect Everton to line up against the Swans on Saturday:
