Everton and Chelsea go head-to-head this weekend in the league.
Everton welcome Chelsea to Goodison Park on Saturday for their last Premier League game before Christmas and the Toffees’ resurgent form means they could well cause a shock against the reigning champions.
Everton have looked a different beast under new manager Sam Allardyce, their impressive form taking them from relegation fodder to ninth in the table in just a few weeks.
The Toffees are now ninth and could move even higher if they win against Chelsea and other results go their way. In contrast the Blues are third with 38 points from 18 matches.
In early team news, Everton are without Leighton Baines, Seamus Coleman, Ramiro Funes Mori, Ross Barkley and James McCarthy, while Yannick Bolasie is lacking match fitness following his recovery from injury. As for Chelsea, they are without David Luiz but have an otherwise clean bill of health.
This could be one of the most entertaining and unpredictable matches of the weekend and whoever comes out on top will have to fight hard for the victory.
