Frank Lampard’s Chelsea will face Liverpool’s Jurgen Klopp in the Premier League on Sunday.

Chelsea manager Frank Lampard has played a 3-4-2-1 system this season, but against a strong and very attack-minded Liverpool team at Stamford Bridge in the Premier League on Sunday afternoon, he is likely to opt for a 4-3-3 formation and keep it tight at the back.

Kepa Arrizabalaga will retain his place in the Chelsea goal, and in front of him, the 24-year-old Spain international will have Cesar Azpilicueta, Andreas Christensen, Fikayo Tomori and Emerson Palmieri in a back-four.

Tomori is playing well at the moment, and he could form a central defensive partnership with Christensen for the Blues on Sunday.

Palmieri has returned to training, as reported by Football.London, and the 25-year-old Italy international left-back is likely to be deployed against Liverpool.

N’Golo Kante is fully fit, and the 28-year-old defensive midfielder will slot into the Chelsea team alongside Jorginho and Mateo Kovacic.

Tammy Abraham has been in brilliant form for Chelsea so far this season, scoring seven goals in five Premier League appearances, according to WhoScored.

The striker is likely to have Willian on one flank and Christian Pulisic on the other.

The 21-year-old winger has not been in great form recently, but the USA international did well against Liverpool in the UEFA Super Cup and could be given a nod against Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool.

Pulisic has made three starts and one substitute appearance in the Premier League for the Blues so far this season, providing one assist in the process, according to WhoScored.

Predicted Chelsea XI: Kepa; Azpilicueta, Christensen, Tomori, Emerson; Kante, Jorginho, Kovacic; Willian, Abraham, Pulisic.
